The Marketers Institute of Bangladesh celebrated its fifth marketing day across the country on Thursday and Friday.
According to the press release, rallies, debates, cultural programs, cake cutting and other related activities were held at various corporate homes, as well as public and private universities.
The institute has arranged a full-day program to celebrate Marketing Day on Friday at the Sheribangla Agricultural College campus in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Planning Minister MA Mannan was present as chief guest of the event, while University Vice Chancellor Professor Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan and GPH Steel Chairman Md Alamgir Kabir were present as special guests.
Professor Mizanur Rahman, Chair of the Marketers Institute Bangladesh, chaired the programme.
The event was attended by approximately 5,000 members, including corporate officials and employees, faculty and students from various private and public universities, bankers, marketers and sales representatives.
A panel discussion on the global financial crisis was held and an expert article on the financial crisis was published. A cultural program was held in the evening.
As part of the program, a pre-marketing gala was held at colleges and companies on Thursday.
The Marketers Institute of Bangladesh is committed to upgrading the professional skills of some 50 million marketing professionals in the country to ensure maximum consumer satisfaction.
