Milwaukee — The Milwaukee Area Livestock Control Board cares for more than 100 animals found in homes north of Milwaukee.
The animals lived in what the MADACC describes as filth. They called the incident a hoarding situation.
Karen Sutrapani, executive director of MDACC, said she had never seen so many animals in such a situation.

“It was like Noah’s Ark. Noah was probably better suited to contain these animals, but every kind of animal you can think of is now there, from farm animals to reptiles to birds.” did,” she said.
Besides, dozens of dogs and cats were trapped in the basement. Some animals were found dead from disease and malnutrition.
A total of 112 animals were rescued from their homes. All of the animals are currently in MADACC, but many will go to special rescue groups or other animal shelters.

“Life is about relationships. I’ve been doing this for nearly 20 years and building that network, so I’m well positioned to rescue these animals and make them where they belong.”
Sutrapani said a man who had been hoarding animals was selling them for profit.

MDACC said it hopes to have some of the dogs and cats ready for adoption as early as next week.
However, the organization is in great need of dry and wet dog food and monetary donations for the treatment of the animals.
