macOS 13 Ventura from Apple is the latest desktop operating system with improved search results, a new system settings design, and more.
However, we recently highlighted how Civilization VI started crashing after updating Ventura. Now, the update seems to affect other apps as well.
macOS 13 Ventura update crashes apps
Many macOS 13 Ventura users are reporting an issue where Apple Mail and Safari keep crashing after recent updates.
After updating to Ventura, has anyone had issues with the Mail app?

Users are reportedly unable to access certain websites, followed by the error message “Safari quit unexpectedly”.
Either the page is not loaded or the information is missing.
Apple Mail refuses to open some attachments. Also, both first-party and third-party applications appear to be affected.
Other apps affected
Besides Safari and Apple Mail, various other apps have crashed or stopped working since the Ventura update. This may be due to compatibility issues.

It’s been a few days since I got an error about the window server terminating unexpectedly. Here is the error report. Is it possible to confirm the cause of this issue?

These include Chrome, Apollo, Photoshop, Adobe, Chrome and Firefox.
This issue is very frustrating as many feel that updates are basically useless because they are not running the app without crashing.
So far, Apple has not commented on the issue of some apps crashing after the Ventura update. There is also no workaround to help temporarily fix the problem.
But as always, we’ll be monitoring this issue and will update this post if anything worth noting comes up.
Update 1 (January 30, 2022)
3:13 PM (IST): More users are reporting crashing issues with the Apple Mail app after updating Ventura (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). However, there is a potential workaround.
remove the .plists and see if that helps
