10 minute branch meeting: Our Institution Relations team has put together a new 10-minute branch training to help educate branch partners on investment guidance and opportunity clues in today’s environment. These meetings are designed to be delivered virtually (i.e. WebEx or Zoom) or in person.

3. SEC Marketing Regulations and Customer Testimonials
SEC marketing rules and LPL’s corresponding policies allow testimonials to be used in marketing materials, creating opportunities to reach prospects in new ways.

Compliance Note: This rule defines testimonials as statements made by clients about their experience with an advisor. For information on how to use your testimony compliantly, visit his LPL’s Compliance SEC Marketing Rules page in the ClientWorks Resource Center available to LPL’s financial advisors and professionals.
Testimony language should reflect the client’s experience with your firm, not investment performance. Don’t forget to submit your content to the Advisor Compliance Tool before using it. If not approved, the MRR team will suggest revisions for consideration. Once the client reviews and approves the revised language, it is resubmitted to the Advisor Compliance Team for approval.
