Sticky Fingers Cafe & Catering will open in June 2021 and is one of 17 businesses participating in Restaurant Week Fox Cities from January 27th to February 5th.
“I’ve always been into food and I love food,” Mishler said. “I love eating my food and making people happy.”
This 10-day event focuses on what Fox City restaurants have to offer to residents and visitors alike.
“When meeting planners try to bring groups here, they’re not just looking at the venue, but other things people can do when they bring groups to the area,” said Fox Cities Convention’s Maddie Jack. Visitors Bureau. “The nightlife and post-meeting events often get people excited. .”
This is also how the Visitors Bureau and community support a business that has experienced many ups and downs over the past few years.
This includes addressing staffing issues and increasing material costs.
“After the past few years of adversity, rising costs, etc., this is really a way for them to celebrate themselves and show them that we support them, appreciate them and will always do so. ‘ said Jack.
Mishler and other participating restaurants created special dishes for the week. It’s a concept she said she liked.
“Especially taking people outside who don’t usually come to our area. They have a destination and it’s always fun,” she said. “‘Oh, let’s go over here and try something different.'”
