Local entrepreneurs share their secrets of success

When Chris Cooper’s gym business was struggling, he started blogging to document his comeback.

Other gym owners were captivated by his experience and integrity, and three years later he published a best-selling book on the fitness business.

He founded Two-Brain Business to provide mentorship in the fitness field when entrepreneurs started asking him what to do.

Cooper will be one of our featured guests as the StartUP Sault Ste on January 18th. Marie will partner with Northern Credit Union to kick off her 2023 with another of her Startup Talks events to celebrate and learn from her experience with Sault Ste. Marie’s top entrepreneur.

Past entrepreneurs include Amazing.com co-founder Jason Katzenback, Village Media CEO Jeff Elgie, DIG CEO Kevin Rusnell, and Mintier co-founder Rhaelyn Gillespie.

Cooper discusses his entrepreneurial journey from gym owner to best-selling author and founder of his successful fitness mentorship company, Two-Brain Business.

With over 800 client gyms and a team of over 45 mentors worldwide, he is now focused on empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs through his new personal platform, BusinessIsGood.com. Chris shares the secrets of his success, lessons learned, trials and tribulations.

Our Startup Talks event provides an opportunity to showcase Sault Ste. entrepreneurs to share their entrepreneurial journey and best advice,” said Nevin Buconjic, President of StartUP Sault, in a news release.

There will be a question and answer session after the lecture. Seating for this in-person event is limited to 35. Tickets are $5.00 + tax and include coffee, tea, and snacks. Cash bar will be available. The vent is at 6pm in the Steamfitters Lounge (inside the machine shop).
