Please tell us more about why you started your business.
While working in-house at a Fortune 100 technology company, I realized that I could use my corporate law legal experience to serve small businesses. Of course, I had the added benefit of being able to control the trajectory of my career.
How is your business different from other businesses in your industry?
I think my business is different because it’s focused on building a legacy for my daughter, and also because of how my team feels about the company. By encouraging (and adjusting our policies to facilitate this), our team has grown in ways we wouldn’t have been able to do without their passion.
What has been your biggest success so far?
to have a family. My family will always be more important than my business. That’s why I think my business has grown to support rather than set priorities. Second, building a business that provides unique employment opportunities for people who are parents. As a mother, being able to offer parents the opportunity to have both a fulfilling professional career and my current role as a caregiver is very fulfilling.

Have you ever experienced a serious personal situation that affected your business decisions?

What’s your biggest tip for other startup entrepreneurs?
Give yourself permission to evolve. For some reason, I feel the pressure to “know it all” at the start. I would like to challenge it. Because if you “get it all”, you’re not dreaming big enough. Listen to your team and customers and evolve over time (not overnight). Give yourself permission. Finally, dream big.
How do you find inspiration in your darkest days?
I know my decisions are mine. I have the ability to grow personally and professionally in the company I built, and remember that our success is not determined by him in one day. Rather, it is the sum of all our actions overtime. In these “dark days” I have learned to trust the process. I was still betting on myself every day.
What song motivates you on a tough day?
‘Buy Dirt’ by Jordan Davis. This song helps put life in perspective because life goes by so quickly and you need to invest your time in the things that really matter. In my father’s speech at my wedding, he wished us a peaceful life. This song reminds me of that.
Who are your most important role models?
My parents are my most important role models. As entrepreneurs, they gave meaning to the effort and sacrifices required to build a family life, but most of all they brought true partnership value. , who support me most enthusiastically. We are proud that all the opportunities and risks we face in our careers are decisions made at home. I know â—¼
