Its “welcoming” vibe helped Last Gasp Collective’s long-awaited latest studio album, Our Daily Bread, soar to the top of the Local Spins Hot Top 5 chart in December. (88.1 FM) in Grand Rapids.

December Boasts 5 New Chart Entries

For Jackson, making “Our Daily Bread” proved to be a very daunting task, so the steadfast response to the 14-track project from a wide range of musicians and singers is particularly satisfying.

“It’s an honor. It’s been a much longer and more complicated process than I expected to complete and release this album,” he admitted. “So it’s amazing that it’s been so well received. We appreciate the patience of our longtime supporters and our new listeners for giving us a chance.”

Recorded over five days on a farm where band members “wrote the basic ideas” for a soulful and musically expansive project, “Our Daily Bread” features Kazzythegypsy, Nik Huey, Marq Beyond, Ardea, Heyzeus, Reychon, Lakeshore Drew.
