MONONA, Wisconsin — A representative for a major Wisconsin grocery chain said it is looking for hundreds of job openings across the company.
They encouraged those who like customer service to apply.
When Tammie Robinson, Metro Market Customer Service Manager at Monona, opened the self-checkout, the employee, who had worked for the Kroger Company for three years, was checking in with her boss and store manager, David Servais.

“I think it’s $3,500. I think my son, who is graduating this year, can also take advantage of it. We all know college isn’t cheap, so a little help would be nice,” Robinson said. . He said.
Robinson also touched on another key perk: flexibility. She said the boon has allowed her to make games for her son and dinner for her family.
Regarding suitable candidates, Servais said the company is happy to find suitable candidates.
“So if you’re a mother who needs to drop your child off at school and then come to work, we have a position for that. If you want to work the night shift and want to work a second shift, there is a position for that,” says Servais.
A representative for the Kroger Company said premium salaries and promotion opportunities are available in addition to placements in Mazomanie and Oconomowoc distribution locations. You can apply here.
