ASTANA – Kazakhstan’s Export Promotion 2023 program, which brings domestic producers to international trade markets, began implementation on 23 January, the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan reported.
The ministry and the Qaztrade Trade Policy Development Center have selected 110 Kazakhstani companies, 70 of which will receive free assistance to open up new sales markets through Alibaba’s international trading platform. Alibaba’s status as a specialty supplier gives entrepreneurs access to a global audience, increasing the visibility of their products abroad.
According to Qaztrade Kazakh Deputy Director Asel Egemberdieva, the selected companies are divided into new entrants and active exporters. Beginners receive step-by-step instructions and recommendations to start export trading. In contrast, an experienced person analyzes her business, finds the most profitable sales markets, and is also offered to meet her business partner her.
The acceleration program hopes to conduct trade and economic missions in 10 countries and demonstrate Kazakhstan’s export potential at international exhibitions.
