Apple users are reminded of some lesser-known apps that come pre-installed on their iPhones.

The app is somewhat hidden, but it may be useful for users.

Here are three apps or features built into the iPhone that Apple users may not be aware of.

One of the useful apps hidden in your iPhone is a code scanner.

This app can only be found by searching and does not appear on the iPhone home screen.

To find the app, swipe down from the top of the screen and search for the app on the top bar.

The app’s main function is to scan QR codes and it works well.

Hold your phone over the QR code and the app will instantly scan the code and redirect you to the corresponding web page.

If you think it’s an app you use frequently, you can also add it to the Control Center so you don’t have to search for it every time.

Please note that this feature only works if you are using iOS 14 or higher.

That’s because the standard iPhone camera app has a built-in QR code scanner.

However, code scanners have some important features that cameras do not.

Code Scanner opens the Safari app in a specific app browser instead of the regular Safari app.

This means that even if you close the page, it will not become inaccessible.

Also, you won’t clog up your Safari history or tabs this way.

This tool helps users find the best possible mobile signal.

To find hidden apps, you need to open iPhone calling options first.

From there, dial *3001#12345#* and press the call button.

From here you will be taken to a special dashboard with technical information about your phone.

A related piece of information is LTE RSRP, which stands for Reference Signal Received Power.

This will reveal the exact signal strength.

The closer the number is to zero, the better.

This handy trick makes it easy to find out where you should be standing to get the best signal for your calls.

This app is very useful and can be found in several ways.

It’s called Magnifier and it provides a decent zoom so you can read small text through your device.

You can also use this feature to examine small objects.

Search for magnifier in the search bar at the top and the app will appear.

You can also place it anywhere on your home screen for later use.
