New York, January 13, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a global nonprofit that has energized youth entrepreneurship since 1987, today announced $200,000 Grant from Invest for Kids Chicago.
NFTE is one of eight organizations selected from over 100 applicants for this two-year grant.Grants help underrepresented youth Chicago– Local schools and community-based organizations reach their full potential.

Through engaging project-based classroom experiences, NFTE students begin to understand how the knowledge they acquire in school can be applied to real-life career opportunities. You’ll also learn how to conceive, solve problems, create solutions, create a business plan for your ideas, and concisely communicate your ideas in a business pitch. Students also connect with entrepreneurs and business professionals who are volunteering as coaches and judges for the NFTE Challenge.
