We all need work life balance. It would be great if we could keep track of the time we spent. Luckily, a new app has emerged to help with the aforementioned task. Mac gets a new app called “Balance” focused on maintaining work-life balance, allowing users to track the time they spend.
Alexander Sandberg, Product Developer for iOS/macOS, is the developer of this app. He recently announced the launch of his Balance app on Twitter.
“Balance is now available in the App Store. Work-life balance is very important, so we are excited to release an app focused on it,” Sandberg tweeted. This app supports features such as manual timing system. It helps users mentally get in and out of work, sends regular break reminders, and comes with a Focus his timer for those who want to manage their time systematically.
Sandberg added that the Balance app is free to use, but there are some optional Pro features that can be unlocked for those who get some value out of the application. Currently, the app’s only Pro feature is logs, which allow users to track and manage their sessions over time, Sandberg said.
In addition, he said some exciting features will be added to the app soon. Some of the upcoming features will be available in Balance Pro.
Meanwhile, Cupertino-based Apple has rolled out its iOS 16.2 update. This update also includes his new Freeform app. According to the company, the Freeform app helps users manage and organize layout content in a flexible canvas. Apps are stored in iCloud and a user can access them from multiple devices such as iPad, iPhone and Mac using the same his Apple account. Additionally, users have the ability to invite other users to co-edit this board.
Simply put, the new Freeform app is a fusion of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. Apple seems to have introduced a new feature to keep up with its competitors. Open the app and you’ll see a large whiteboard where you can jot down your ideas all in one platform. It supports built-in gestures so you can move around the board.
