Zeeland, Michigan (WOOD) — Two counties in Western Michigan will see unprecedented business growth in 2022, according to new research.
Lakeshore Advantagethe economic development organization for both Allegan and Ottawa counties, has released its 2022 Successful Projects and Performance Report, analyzing measurable expansion.
Last year, the county received a total of $2.38 billion invested by businesses, with another $436 million brought in for expansion. Jennifer Owens, president of Lakeshore Advantage, called these figures “historic.”
“This is historic in that it’s just a significant amount of investment and growth,” she said.
