Hip-hop musician-turned-actor Tamiza Addi recently announced his relationship with Verus Film International producer Ishali K. Ganesh. His Karthik Venugopalan, of Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja fame, joined to lead the project. It was previously revealed that the actor would essay the role of a physical education teacher in it.
The makers have released the title and a first look poster. PT Sir is the title the team chose for the film, and the poster shows his attacking Adhi with his cricket ball, basketball and football in hand against the backdrop of the stadium. Kashmira Pardesi is seen playing the female lead.
Madhesh Manickam and GK Prathanna, known for the entertaining drama, respectively shot and edited the film with music composed by Adi himself. The film’s story revolves around a young teacher who tries to introduce unique physical activities to school children.
The different challenges he faces while doing the same form the rest of the story. The project is expected to be unlike anything Addy has done to date. His next outing is his Veeran, commanded by ARK Saravanan. The big-budget movie was completed a while ago and is set to be released this year.
Veeran marks his third collaboration with Adhi and Sathya Jytohi Films, after Sivakumarin Sabadham and Anbarivu. The latter recently celebrated its one year anniversary. The first movie in which the actor played dual roles was released directly on Disney + Hotstar.
Akhil Akkineni’s Tollywood film Agent is Adhi’s highly anticipated next film as a composer. The action thriller was originally scheduled to be released in theaters in January of this year.
