hip hop architecture scholarship application
The Michael Ford Hip Hop Architecture Scholarship is pleased to announce a new scholarship opportunity for minority students interested in studying architecture at university. The $10,000.00 scholarship is for high school seniors who demonstrate a passion for architecture and excellent academic performance.
To apply, students must write a short essay (up to 500 words) when prompted by Hip Hop Architecture and upload a letter of recommendation from their school educator, employer, or mentor.
A jury of architectural experts and hip-hop pioneers will review submissions and select winners based on the strength of their responses and testimonials.
Michael Ford’s $10,000.00 Hip Hop Architecture Scholarship awards $2,500 per year over four years, for a total of $10,000.00 to minority high school juniors who enroll in a four-year college or university to study architecture. Information regarding re-application for scholarships will be sent at the time of admission to graduate school.
