Japanese advertising giant Hakuhodo has acquired a majority stake in independent agency group MA&TH Entertainment Network to boost its presence in India.

MA&TH Group includes Marching Ants Advertising established in 2001 and Trigger Happy Entertainment established in 2007. These agencies merged in 2019 and offer a wide range of services from marketing strategy building to creative and content production, digital media and digital activation.
The acquisition follows a number of joint projects between MA&TH and Hakuhodo’s martech digital agency AdGlobal 360 and activation agency PMG, both based in New Delhi. The acquisition will bring the agency closer together to drive further growth.
