Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, could be next on Akademiks’ “Off The Record podcast,” hoping to spread the snitching allegations.
In a recent livestream, Akademiks revealed that he and Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, have been in touch about a scheduled interview in the near future. Akademiks’ platform offers Sadow the opportunity to reach a large audience of Atlanta rappers called ‘Gunnatello’.
Academics hopes to finalize the interview in the first week of the new year, and Sadow said he’s not fully committed yet. after seeing him take issue with what he said to Vlad,” Akademiks said during the live stream. “I sent him a message and he said, ‘Listen, maybe next week, I’ll have to think about it.'”
Academics’ possible interview with Gana’s lawyer comes days after Vlad revealed he was also in contact with Sadow. I reached out to him to clarify my client’s plea bargain. In exchange for leaving, he confirmed that YSL was a criminal gang, stating that while in the car with Young Thug he found drugs and guns, but they weren’t his. This will likely be used by the DA to convict other YSL members,” Vlad said on Twitter.
Sadow explained to Vlad over the phone that Gunna’s plea bargain, which he admitted, could not be used against anyone else in the case. As I said, I disagreed. (See also: DL Hughley On Gunna: Gov Don’t Give Nothing for Nothing)
Steve Sadow wasn’t a fan of Hughley’s comments to his clients, claiming that “the government gives nothing for nothing.” In a series of DMs sent to Vlad after the clip aired on his YouTube, Sadow said: “Simply put, he’s wrong,” Sadow wrote, and also suggested having a one-on-one conversation with Hughley on the show. See if you have the backbone to do it,” he wrote. “Make sure he understands I’m not playing. Put the gloves on. He’s risking people’s lives with his non-empty opinions. He’s a comedian.” Maybe, but this shit isn’t funny.”
