To the editor:
We wake up early and after a morning workout at our beautiful wellness center here in Copeland Oaks, we head home for a sumptuous breakfast and morning journal reading ritual.
Page A4 is my favorite and I was happy to see the annual Christmas message for all readers of the Columbiana County newspapers (Morning Journal, Salem News, The Review).
Reading aloud your four-column story, my wife and I relived the magic of our youth and many Christmases gone by. JD, you are a great writer. As we read back and forth to each other, we thanked God that there were still people like you in this country telling the true story of the birth of our Savior.
We ask for your cooperation in making this year’s Christmas a bright and joyful one.many paragraphs starting with “Merry Christmas” Remember our many wishes for all mankind. We remember the Great Depression, World War II, the loneliness of leaving home to serve, the pledge of allegiance, the national anthem, and especially the bright light of America in a world torn apart by bigotry and war.
Simple J.D. “Thank you very much” Share your memories and authentic stories with us all. Columbiana County is blessed to have a true patriot as editor-in-chief of her A4 page in our favorite newspaper, The Morning His Journal.
Merry Christmas to you, your family and all the dedicated employees at The Morning Journal who make your newspaper so special.
RON and BEV prices,
sebring
