The Eastern Regional Tourism District (ERTD) has announced a grant program for marketing initiatives that support the tourism economy in eastern Connecticut.
The Regional Marketing Partnership Program awards up to $10,000 in grants to businesses, nonprofits, and local governments for their marketing plans.
According to a news release, the Connecticut Tourism Authority has allocated a total of $70,000 to fund the program.
District Chair Jim Bellano said in a release:
Plans should focus on marketing the tourism economy in eastern Connecticut, encourage safe enjoyment of tourism opportunities, and encourage cooperation and partnerships.
Applications will be accepted until February 10th.
To submit a plan for consideration, the plan must be submitted in PDF format to Rachel Lenda of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce (visiteasternct@gmail.com). The plan should include a complete description of the project, a timeline, measurable goals, and a proposed budget. Applicant is eligible for one of her program grants per year.
