Framingham – Christimara (Christy) Garcia will become Director of Framingham State University’s Entrepreneurial Innovation Center (EIC) in January, working directly with local entrepreneurs and the university’s business departments and students. She will start her next week.
Garcia is a business executive with over 20 years of experience, 15 of those years dedicated to innovation management.
Most recently, she was the founder of the Catalyze Innovations Initiative and led the launch of several Innovation Bootcamp programs, including the BIPOC Entrepreneurship program, where she applied disruptive innovation to over 100 entrepreneurs to help their businesses thrive, Trained and mentored to achieve socio-economic growth. and inclusion.

The Framingham State University Entrepreneur Innovation Center was launched in 2013 to serve local entrepreneurs and university business students. For a small monthly fee, it offers entrepreneurs a range of benefits, including:
