Gangsta Boo’s funeral and memorial services have been announced following her death earlier this month.
Producer and fellow drummer Boy from Memphis, Tennessee, took to Instagram on Sunday (January 8) to reveal details about how the late Three 6 Mafia rapper will be remembered.
A celebration of life was held on January 13 at Railgarten on Central Avenue in her hometown of Memphis, and on January 14 at Brown Baptist Church on Stateline Road in South Haven, Mississippi. A funeral is held.

Gangsta Boo, whose real name is Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, passed away on January 1 at the age of 43. FOX 13 Memphisshe was found dead around 4 p.m. in a neighborhood west of the Memphis International Airport, though the cause of death was not disclosed.
In a recently aired interview WREG Memphisclose friend Delmer Lawrence revealed that despite being grieving over his father’s death, he had a lot of plans in the works, and that Gangsta Boo did not die “as a result of cheating”.
“She loves what she wants to do and has a lot of plans and dreams about what she wants to do in 2023, which means she told me about them three days ago,” Lawrence said. “She lost her father and it hit her hard. I am happy to know that you are at peace.”
