Bermuda Tourism Board [BTA] Invite local entrepreneurs to apply for the experience investment program.
A spokesperson said:
“Launched in 2016, the Tourism Experience Investment Program is a vehicle for tourism entrepreneurs who need help getting their ideas off the ground. Developed by BTA to help create homemade experiences.
“In line with the National Tourism Plan’s Community Contribution pillar, this investment will help foster the growth of original ideas advocated by local communities. We have invested more than $4 million in
Interim Chief Executive Officer Tracy Berkley said: We are a dynamic, creative and innovative group of people. Such programs allow us to combine cultural and tourism offerings to create an enhanced Bermuda experience for our guests. “
“For 2022, the BTA will nominate nine successful beneficiaries who will then curate experiences around dining, live music and other sources of entertainment.
“We are pleased to facilitate the next group of tourism entrepreneurs through the Experience Investment Program. Each applicant is encouraged to be guided by the pillars of the National Tourism Plan,” said BTA Vice President of Experience One Tashae Thompson said.
Quarterly visitor exit survey data provided insight into what visitors love and want to experience on the island.
