Marketing research is the function of connecting consumers, customers and the general public to marketers through information. Information is used to identify and define opportunities and problems. Generate, refine, and evaluate actions. Monitor performance. Deepen your understanding as a process. It specifies the information needed to address these issues, designs how the information is collected, manages and implements the data collection process, analyzes the results, and communicates the findings and their implications.
Brand definition
A brand is a name, term, design, symbol or other characteristic that distinguishes the goods or services of one seller from those of another seller.
The ISO Brand Standard adds that brands are “intangible assets” intended to “create a unique image and association in the minds of stakeholders, thereby generating economic benefit/value”.
Marketing type
influencer marketing
It focuses on leveraging individuals who have influence over potential buyers and directing activity around these individuals to drive the brand message to the larger market.
It allows brands to inspire and reward influencers (including celebrities, content creators, customer advocates, and employees) to spread the word on their behalf.
relationship marketing
According to the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), relationship marketing refers to strategies and tactics for segmenting consumers and building loyalty.
Relationship marketing leverages database marketing, behavioral advertising, and analytics to precisely target consumers and create loyalty programs.
viral marketing
A phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass on advertising messages.
It’s called “viral” because the number of people exposed to the message mimics the process by which a virus or disease is passed from person to person.[1]
green marketing
Refers to the development and promotion of products that are presumed to be environmentally safe (i.e. designed to minimize adverse physical environmental impact or improve quality).
The term may also be used to describe efforts to produce, advertise, package, and refurbish products in ways that are sensitive to or responsive to ecological concerns.
Keyword marketing
I need to display a message in front of a user based on specific keywords or phrases they are using in their search. The main advantage of this method is that it allows marketers to reach the right people with the right message at the right time. For many marketers, this method shows ads when certain keywords are entered.
Note that in SEO, this term means appearing higher in the search results itself.
guerrilla marketing
Discuss unconventional and creative strategies aimed at obtaining maximum results from minimum resources.
outbound marketing
This allows marketers to initiate contact with their customers through methods such as television, radio, and digital display advertising. It is often used to influence consumer perceptions and preferences for brands.
inbound marketing
Inbound is when a customer starts contacting a marketer, depending on the various methods used to get their attention. These methods include email, events, content, and web design. One of the goals of inbound is to establish your business as a source of valuable information and solutions to problems, thereby fostering customer trust and loyalty.
search engine optimization
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of creating a marketing/technical plan to improve your visibility within one or more search engines. This usually consists of two elements. Technically, SEO refers to ensuring that your website is indexed well by major search engines, and includes using the right keywords, content, code, and links.
On the marketing side, SEO refers to the process of targeting specific keywords that your site should “win” in search. This can be done by modifying your website to score higher in the algorithms search engines use to determine rank, or by buying placements for individual keywords. An SEO program is often a combination of several elements and strategies. [2]
Note: When SEO is used to describe an individual, it stands for search engine optimizers.
content marketing
Techniques for creating and delivering valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and acquire well-defined audiences for the purpose of driving profitable customer action.
According to the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), you need different ways to tell your brand story. More and more marketers are evolving their advertising into content marketing/storytelling, increasing their stickiness and emotional bond with their consumers.
