Emily Ratajowski has opened up about her relationship life making headlines. “I’m a free, independent single woman who wants to,” she said of joining the private app.
Rumors circulated that Ratajowski moved in with Pete Davidson after she split from Bear McClard, the father of a one-year-old son, and the two were spotted together in New York. But on a recent podcast episode, Ratajowski said he is currently single and ready to mingle.
“Watch me delete it in a week.”
“It’s only been a few days, but I have a lot to say,” she told friend and podcast guest Kat. It says the statistics are narrow. “I feel like this app is a little bit white,” she says, “It feels like a very specific type of man and honestly a very specific type of woman, so here’s my woman.” (Ratajowski apparently came out as bisexual on TikTok in October.)
The author of “My Body” spent most of the episode discussing her desire to “get back together” after four years of marriage. “We want to be like surgeons, lawyers, academics,” said Ratajowski, who said she wanted to cut ties with her celebrity ex-boyfriend.
As anyone would expect, swiping comes with challenges. While some suitors are hesitant to make the first move, Ratajowski said some are too aggressive. “This guy said to me, ‘Honestly, Emily, I’m a little confused. My baby.'”
So far, the app hasn’t yielded anything out of the ordinary for Ratajowski, but she’s open to possibilities. “Watch me remove it in a week,” she said.
