A ramen restaurant and meal subscription service founded in Ontario is set to open its first location in Toronto.
Crafty Ramen is a high-quality reimagining of the ultimate in comfort food, with Japanese inspiration and local influences.
The franchise has two locations in Ontario, one in Guelph and one in Kitchener.
On Friday, Crafty Ramen made the exciting announcement that the restaurant’s new location will open at 217 Ossington Avenue.
“Until recently, opening a Crafty Ramen in Toronto seemed like a distant dream,” said the announcement. “We are very excited that it is actually happening!”
This ramen restaurant joins the likes of Superpoint, Mamakas Taverna, Union and Te on the bustling Ossington Strip, a hub for international food.
Crafty Ramen founders Miki and Jared Farrel appeared on season 17 of Dragon’s Den alongside brand CEO Khalil Khamis.
The trio ultimately decided to strike a deal with venture capitalist Arlene Dickinson after receiving joint offers from two other Dragons.
The menu for Crafty Ramen’s Toronto location has yet to be revealed, but other locations offer a variety of delicious snacks, desserts, and, of course, ramen.
Guelph’s appetizers include crispy soy sauce noodles, pork dumplings, and Korean-style fried chicken.
We also have a wide selection of mouth-watering ramen, from classic soy sauce, miso, and salt to even Korean-inspired ramen.
Crafty Ramen also offers DIY Ramen Subscription Boxes that are ready in 15 minutes. Subscriptions are fully customizable and you can choose delivery every 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks.
Subscription boxes are delivered every 4 weeks and offer 4 items for $62, 5 items for $72.50, and 6 items for $84.
