San Diego County officials Wednesday asked the public for help in estimating how much damage has been done by the recent storms that hit the area.
Residents whose homes or small businesses were damaged between December 29 and January 17, 2022 were asked to complete an online survey outlining the extent of the damage.
According to the County Emergency Services Agency, the data collected through the survey will help the county determine the extent of damage experienced and whether that damage qualifies the area for disaster assistance.
You can fill out the damage investigation form here.
County officials said the completion of the investigation does not guarantee that the property owner will be eligible for disaster assistance.
