The CEO of DNVR Sports’ parent company said a cease and desist order will be filed against the new sports media brand because of the similarity of its logo.
DENVER — The Mile High City has a new media group, Denver Sports, whose logo is similar to that of DNVR Sports, whose parent company has threatened suspension and withdrawal, causing a sense of déjà vu among residents. I’m here.
Bonneville Denver announced Tuesday that its new sports media brand will serve as an umbrella for several local radio and digital properties.
- Denver Sports Station 104.3 Fun (KKFN-FM)
- ESPN Denver 1600 (KEPN-AM and 104.3 HD2) and 104.3 HD3
- denversports.com
- Coffee break digital video show
- orange and blue today digital video show
- mile high hoops podcast

However, DNVR Sports was one of many companies that noticed a strong similarity between the new Denver Sports logo and their own logo. Brandon Spano, CEO of AllCity Network, now the parent company of DNVR Sports, told 9NEWS that he would file a cease and desist order.
Many on social media also couldn’t help but notice the strong similarities.
Altitude Sports Radio clearly shows the similarity by posting a new profile picture.
The tweet elicited a response from Spano.
“Hopefully we can get some glassware done this month. Thank you,” Altitude replied to Spano.
Altitude also responded to several people who made comments such as “these are all just copies of @DNVR_Sports”.
