Wisconsin-based burger chain Culver’s announced Wednesday that it has promoted Julie Fussner from vice president of marketing to chief marketing officer. Quick Service As her brand’s first CMO, Fussner will continue to oversee the expansion of Culver’s footprint as the brand opens more than 50 restaurants per year since her 2019.
“I am honored to have earned the trust and respect of my colleagues at Culver’s and to be named CMO,” Fussner said in a statement. “
Fussner has been with Culver’s since 2017 and has decades of experience in marketing, including a leadership position with Kraft Foods’ Oscar Meyer brand. During her tenure with her brand, she has led her marketing team in areas such as brand strategy, creative development, media planning and communications. Fussner also led marketing strategies, including fan-favorite hits such as her LTO CurderBurger in 2021 and the launch of a new integrated marketing campaign in 2022.
Culver’s currently operates 900 stores in 26 states.
