Sharing a vision to strengthen local businesses by empowering micro-entrepreneurs, Common Services Centers (CSC), an SPV of the Ministry of Information Technology, joined forces with Adani Capital to drive Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) started providing funding.
Business loan approvals are currently available for 100 VLEs using CSC Grameen eStores, with 1500 VLEs expected to be covered in the next three months.
There are currently 10,000 VLEs serving CSC Grameen e-Stores. These VLEs will act as distributors in local digital marketplaces created by CSC e-Grameen Stores, empowering companies in the last-mile direct distribution of their products, including FMCG, durable consumer electronics, vehicles and more. Currently, there are Rs 3.64 crore Grameen eStores in operation across the country, with Rs 642.77 crore of business involved since launch.
