Elaine Tan Comeau was recently awarded $15,000 by Stacy’s Pit Chips Rise Project for mentorship opportunities with the organization’s partners.
Comeo’s business, Easy Daysies Ltd., has created a daily magnetic planner designed to help children spend their days ‘easier and less anxious’, while also encouraging collaboration with parents and families. is teaching.
After the Mother of Three product was unveiled, it became an international campaign with orders coming in from Canada, the United States, and around the world to help qualify for Stacy’s Rise Project grants.
“As a school teacher, I have spent many years creating visual routines similar to those I created before the classroom to help my children at home with their morning and after-school routines. has been requested by the parents of ,” read Comeau’s statement on the Easy Daysies website.
“One day I realized that if you’ve been making these visual routines for free for years, there must be a market for such a product.

Comeau’s visual schedule has been recognized by national television as well as being Canadian Mompreneur of the Year in 2014.
She applied for Stacy’s Pita Chips grant. This also gives the winners the opportunity to participate in a peer group to network with industry experts.
The project has distributed approximately $1 million in funding and resources to women entrepreneurs since its inception in 2017.
“Programs like Stacy’s Rise Project, which provides direct funding combined with ongoing mentorship opportunities, could be a game changer for women entrepreneurs and the first Canadian class to benefit from this opportunity.
