A Chinese national has died in Ethiopia’s tense Oromia region, the Beijing embassy in Addis Ababa said on Tuesday, ordering citizens to evacuate high-risk areas.
Nine Chinese nationals were attacked on Monday night in Gebre Graça, about 160 kilometers north of the capital, according to a statement from the embassy.
