Chicago (WLS) — A partnership between the Chicago Treasury Department and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business offers a 15-week business education program for entrepreneurs.
The program helps entrepreneurs access capital and learn a hands-on school. This program is offered free of charge to small business owners.
CTO is excited to join another financial education program that helps entrepreneurs and small business owners thrive and build strong, sustainable communities and long-term wealth.
The program will accept applications for registration from business owners from February 1 through the June 6 deadline. The fall program will start in September 2023.
To be eligible, applicants must:
– Must be owner/co-owner
– A business that has been in business for at least two years
– At least $75,000 in business revenue in the most recent fiscal year
・2 or more full-time employees (including the owner)
Attendees will receive one-on-one business advice and professional guidance from Goldman Sachs experts. In addition, business owners who are unable to obtain traditional loans or other sources of credit can access her CDFI at Goldman Sachs and a network of other lenders to obtain capital.
