Police yesterday arrested a Silicon Valley CEO for robbing a Panera Bread bathroom in Mountain View, California, after spying on a female customer.
Peeping Tom was identified as Eduardo Moreno, 35-year-old co-founder and CEO of SeaDrone, a Palo Alto-based technology company that uses undersea robots to inspect underwater hulls.

While in the women’s restroom, the unsuspecting victim saw a person in an adjacent stall looking up at her with his head stuck under a partition.
“The woman yelled at the man, who then ran out of the restroom and restaurant. The victim chased the man and confronted him near El Camino Real,” according to a Mountain View police report.
The woman tried to take a picture of Moreno, but he stole her phone and pushed her to the ground.
He was spotted jumping over a fence with his shirt off, but later inexplicably returned to his Panera Bread.

Arrested for voyeurism and robbery
Moreno was then arrested for robbery and voyeurism and imprisoned in the Santa Clara County Jail.
In California, it is a crime to spy on someone in a private setting without their consent. These are commonly referred to as “peeping” crimes.
