Social media star and American actor Cameron Dallas joins two Canadian students on a mission to change the face of dating forever.
The app is called “IRLY” and was created with the goal of making finding love easier than any other app on the market.
difference? IRLY offers interactive games and the ability to send video and audio messages so you don’t have to struggle to decipher the encrypted text from your matches.
The idea was inspired by founder and Toronto Metropolitan University student Laura Rorock’s dating experience.
“In real life, people are not always honest about what they want or how they feel. I decided to make it,” she said.
Her best friend, Connor Rose, who attended UBC, later joined the team as CEO and co-founder before hiring internet influencer Cameron Dallas.

The Daily Hive spoke with Dallas about his role at IRLY and how he’s trying to clash the online dating experience we know today with video chat features and game formats.
Why did you join IRLY as a co-founder?
“Dating is a scene I’ve always wanted to do…because I think it can bring something to the table.
“I feel like [other apps on the market] They don’t know exactly what’s really going on and they haven’t done much to fix the problem.
“Me and Connor [IRLY CEO], in fact they are both single mothers…my mom only complained about these dating apps like “it’s really hard to meet people” or “they are different people”…so we Really wanted to help our mom and date a better experience. ”
How can IRLY build stronger connections?

What problem does IRLY offer from the beginning that other dating apps haven’t solved?

Do you have any advice for people who want to start dating again using apps?

Why should singles choose IRLY over other apps on the market?
