The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) will host a networking breakfast with the Berks County Commission from 7:30-9:30 am at DoubleTree by Hilton Reading, 701 Penn St., Reading. Attendees received an update on the Commissioner’s goals for 2023, including economic development, Imagine Berks, the 2030 Planning Initiative, funding the American Rescue Plan, restoring passenger railroads, and many other issues in the county. The County’s new Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Barnhardt, will share the projects he has been working on as Commissioner in 2022 and his vision for the County as it transitions into this new leadership role.
