FARGO — Their building is for sale, but Brew Bird has promised patrons they won’t be going any time soon.
The allegation came shortly after a sign was posted in front of the restaurant and a sales listing was displayed online, according to a Facebook post shared by the restaurant on Friday, Jan.
“Our landlord has our building listed, but fear not, we’re not going anywhere!” read the post. “We are here to serve you all the funky fried chicken you can handle in the near future!”
The building at 300 N. University Drive is for sale at a price of $650,000, according to online listings. Built in 1948, his 2,000-square-foot building has been dubbed the retailer’s “investment property.”

Local Entrepreneurs Host Pop-Up Museum Night
Fargo entrepreneur and former CIA officer Will Cromarty will be hosting the first in a series of pop-up museum nights at the Fargo Brewing Company on Saturday, January 21st at 7pm.
Cromarty is participating in the fall cohort of the Builders and Backers Idea Accelerator. Organized by Heartland Forward, a non-profit economic development organization, the program aims to uncover problem-solving ideas across America’s Heartland.
Saturday’s event will be the first of three events planned for 2023. Press According to his release, the pop-up will “have an eclectic collection of retro artifacts ranging from outer space to espionage, with live music by DJ 1PrettyRicky.”
Cromarty has created a museum incubator with the goal of bringing educational experiences in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to metropolitan areas. The rotating “micro-museum” is designed to allow residents to test museum exhibits as potential long-term museum showcase trials, the press release explained.
The Builders and Backers Idea Accelerator is sponsored by Grand Farm and Emerging Prairie in Fargo. For the fall cohort, he offered $5,000 for 10 North Dakota residents to try out the idea. The 90-day program includes his 45 days to learn how to bring ideas to life and another his 45 days to experiment.
