BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — WNY business owners continue their business boom with inflow traffic during this historic Bills season.
Some owners, like Mark Ebeling of Danny’s South, say that when Bills wins, everyone wins in West New York.
“This is good for everyone, and locally owned, family-owned businesses work hard because they are so hard on their business,” he says.
The Chick-N-Pizza factory down Abbott Road from Danny’s South has been doing well for the past 60 years.
The recent 2022 blizzard brought day-to-day operations to a halt, but if the Bills keep winning, so will the pizzeria.
“But football games and the Bills are extending the playoffs,” says Chick-N-Pizza owner John Fortini. “This was a great help in keeping the phone ringing and getting the driver out.”
Fortini told 7 News reporter Yoselin Person during the Bills game that they have their own game for fans.
“If you guess the score on any of Bills’ games, you’ll win this pizza on our Facebook page,” says Fortini.
But with the Super Bowl likely, some companies can’t wait.
“I’ve been here all along,” says Fortini. “I’m happy that those years are back. I think it’s the best time for Bills fans.”
