Molly Kramer didn’t have time to do her Christmas shopping. A senior at Brossart High School asked her sisters to pick up presents because she was too busy with classes, homework, basketball, and her own online business.

“This is when I do most of my product ordering, and it adds to the stress because I don’t want to ruin anyone’s Christmas by forgetting a present,” she said.
Keeping up with the holiday season sales didn’t seem to affect Kramer’s performance on the basketball court. In her four games over the past two weeks, she has scored her 41 points and grabbed 40 rebounds. The 5-foot, 10-inch forward is currently averaging 11.1 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game against the 6-3 Mustangs against Boyle County on Tuesday in the opening round of the Bellaire Holiday Classic.

Kramer also plays for the Brossard softball team in the spring when the fishing season begins. We usually get a lot of orders during that time, but since we opened in the fall of 2019, we have been able to handle them.

Kramer said he started fishing and hunting with his father and grandfather at an early age. Three years before she started making her own plastic baits after watching a video on YouTube of someone making them.
During the Covid 19 pandemic she was bored and needed something to do. That’s when she decided to sell her baits online and she created her website for Bullets And Baits. She currently only sells bait, but may expand her business to include shells for hunting.
Homemade plastic baits of various shapes, sizes and colors are sold on the website. Last summer, Kramer and her cousin Kayson designed their own bait and built a mold for it.
This website has a photo of Kramer holding a largemouth bass he caught using one of his baits. She said they have been shipped to customers in more than 40 states and Canada.
“I’ll go out and test it myself,” Kramer said. “My cousin actually fishes better than I do. He’s in tournaments and everything else, so he’s my main guy as far as testing is concerned and tells me what to do.” give Change”
Her parents, Wayne and Peggy, have also contributed to the success of this business. She said her father taught her to manage spreadsheets, and her mother made numerous trips to her post office to mail her items.
Kramer was a good student and received a full scholarship to attend Northern Kentucky University through the Governor’s Scholarship Program. She plans to major in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She hasn’t decided what to do with her online business once she’s in college.
“That’s what I’m trying to figure out now and in the next four years,” she said. “It would be great if I could do this for the rest of my life, but I don’t know if it’s feasible.
