The Better Business Bureau, which serves Toledo and Lima, has appointed Reagan Winkler to the new position of Director of Marketing Communications.
Winkler was previously Executive Director of BBB’s Lima Division. This department serves the Lima neighborhood and its six counties. In her new role, Winkler will oversee all marketing, advertising and communications strategies for BBB’s 24 countywide footprint, including her 501(C)(3) charitable foundation.
Winkler holds a degree in Visual Communication Technologies from Bowling Green State University. Her commitment to community ethics has made her a finalist for the 2022 “Young Her Leader of the Year” award at the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala.
“Consumers want to use companies they can trust,” said Lane Montz, BBB President and CEO. “BBB’s business certification process shows that the best businesses stand out as the right choice for consumers, but sometimes we can do a better job of spreading the word. We already know she is a staunch and passionate advocate for business ethics and consumer protection.In this new role, she will combine online and digital marketing and traditional media to bring our brand to life. We have the opportunity to modernize and increase the visibility of the BBB across our 24 county service areas, and I am confident she will put her BGSU degree to good use.”
In 2021, people used the BBB over 200 million times to get 6.3 million business profiles and charity reports on 25,000 charities. All of these are available for free at BBB.org.
