Welcome to Ask Brien, the show that answers all your business questions! In today’s episode, Peter and Traci have special guest Bill Saller of Albany Farms!

At the beginning of the show, Peter asked Bill what were his top three most important things for a successful entrepreneur. There are many, but Bill refers to a great product, idea or service, the capital to get your vision off the ground, and finally, perhaps most importantly, the tenacity to keep pursuing your ideas. Bill says these were key when Twisted was developing all of his ventures, including Albany Farms, where he launched a noodle product.

“Capital and good ideas are important, of course, but the important thing is to have a unique idea, service or product that sets trends,” Bill said. “I always share this with people. No matter what other people think, if you believe it don’t stop. Keep going, keep going, keep going towards your goals.”

Traci then asked Bill how he would know when to expand and continue to grow the company. Bill says many people want to see immediate results, but that’s rarely the case. He notes that a large customer base can often be detrimental to a business if staff are not equipped to handle that kind of workload, leading to negative reviews and company reflections. He even said they could be connected.
