GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (AP) — A man suspected of murdering two women in Green Bay over the weekend has been arrested by Arkansas police, officials said Monday.
A 48-year-old Green Bay man was initially being investigated as being involved in the suspicious deaths of two women on Sunday on the east side of the city, police said.
He was detained during a traffic stop in Arkansas after Green Bay police notified Arkansas law enforcement that a person of interest may be transiting through Arkansas, reports WLUK-TV. rice field.
The names of the suspect and two victims have been withheld.
The bodies of a 58-year-old Green Bay woman and a 53-year-old Bellevue woman were found Sunday by police inside a Green Bay duplex. Authorities have not revealed how the woman died.
Green Bay Police believe the killing was not random and the suspect is believed to be known to at least one of the victims.
