Apple’s Music and TV apps for Windows have arrived, and preview versions of the apps have been spotted in the Microsoft Store. Verifier (via McRumors). These are two codenames reportedly associated with Apple’s virtual reality headsets.
The TV app is similar to the macOS version, but you can access different sections from side lists instead of tabs across the top. With it, I could watch Apple TV Plus shows and iTunes purchased movies. There was even a mini player mode. The Music app is similar to the macOS version, but accessing the iTunes store is a little more difficult.

When you open the apps for the first time, you’ll be warned that using them will break iTunes and you’ll need to uninstall the previews to get it back. The Music app seems to pull my music and settings from iTunes, but if you absolutely must sync your iPod, it’s worth deferring trying these apps until the Apple Devices app is out of preview.
