“There is a big difference and distinction in who and how you want to market,” Mercado said in an interview. “Better segmentation of your audience and a better message to that audience – a more specific message – will give you better results every time.”
“When you’re dealing with commercial cleaning, you’re dealing with ‘B2B,’ or business-to-business,” he continued. “Your language will be different…. What drives the decisions of homeowners does not necessarily drive the decisions of large corporate operations personnel.”
