Tekashi 69 continues to question the “rap game” for being quiet when it comes to snitching when doing paperwork on Boston Richie.
Maintaining the same energy around labeling someone a snitch is all Tekashi 69 is after. Brooklyn rapper says hip-hop is quiet to those who snitched: Tekashi was attacked for his label snitched in 2019 when he testified against Nine Trey, resulting in media and gaming outrage. Top was heavily criticized by his rappers. Tekashi was eventually released in 2020 and served 20 months in prison.
Fast forward to 2023 and Tekashi 69 is putting pressure on hip-hop to maintain the same energy. In a recent post via his IG story, 69 shared paperwork involving rapper Boston Richie. This allegedly stems from a murder in which Richie was the third witness when he was 19 years old.
In addition to the post, Tekashi wrote: Everyone has something to say and now people don’t have a voice or an opinion. ”
Boston Richie replied on his own IG story, accusing him of snitching. No, I put pressure tape on public housing 2****n****.”
Teakshi 69 has been very vocal about Young Thug and YSL’s RICO case. Many accepted plea bargains in exchange for their release. Antonio “Obama” Sumlin, Gunna, Walter Murphy, Slimelife Shorty, Lil Duke and Young Thug’s brother Anfunk were all given the freedom to accept a plea bargain.
In a recent livestream with Akademiks, 6ix9ine called hip-hop staying silent about Gunna’s Alford plea deal. According to Tekashi 69, Alford’s plea bargain leaves Gunna with no choice but to go after Young Thug and her YSL. If Gunna is questioned about his YSL criminal activity and found to be lying by the prosecutor or defense, he will be returned to prison.
