French Montana credits “genius” 50 Cent for using his various celebrity feuds over the years as marketing tools for his music.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, has feuded with many notable rappers during his career, including Ja Rule, Rick Ross, The Game, and even Montana himself.

“At one point, he was the biggest genius in the music industry,” Montana said of the 50-year-old during a recent appearance on Mashoffa’s “My Expert Opinion.”
“He just picked you and dropped the mixtape. He picked you and dropped the album. He did it, but he became the mastermind and the warlord.”

Montana’s comments about 50 came after 10 people were injured in a shooting at a Miami restaurant on Jan. 5, with Montana celebrating the release of his new mixtape, ‘Coke Boys 6’. was with the crew of
Rapper Rob49 and his bodyguard were injured, according to CBS 42.
“Unfortunately, we were in the wrong place when the traumatic incident happened.” A day after the incident, Montana wrote on Twitter.
“Our thoughts and prayers [with] Victims and families at this time. ”
