Hip-hop is by no means a new concept in Arewa (Northern Nigeria). Rap music is becoming an integral part of the urban youth consciousness of the region.
But seeing a woman rap mind blowing is definitely unique and surprisingly electric.
In northern Nigeria, male entertainers such as DJ AB, Morel, Classiq and Deezell have overshadowed the hip-hop industry. One would even wonder if there are any female rappers in the North.
But female rappers are beginning to counter traditional stereotypes through hip-hop by navigating places even some male entertainers are afraid to tread.

She hopes to one day be as big as Nicki Minaj.Taffy, Boss Lady, etc.
