Four new members have joined the Baton Rouge General Board of Trustees.
Dr. Jeffrey Littleton Participate in the Board of Directors as an ex-officio member. He is the new chief of staff of General Rouge in his baton. He specializes in general and burn surgery and was previously the Deputy Chief of Staff. Lyttelton earned his medical degree from the University of California/Charles R. Drew College of Medicine and Science and completed his General Surgery residency at his LSU His Medical Center in New Orleans.
Bert Phillips serves as an ex-officio commissioner. He is the new chairman of the BRG Foundation Board of Directors. Phillips is CEO of BLP Holdings, a private investment firm that manages renewable energy assets. He has over 25 years of executive leadership experience in the energy industry. Philips is a US Navy veteran and helicopter pilot with degrees from the US Naval Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School.
Dr. Joel Silverberg Worked at Baton Rouge Clinic for 30 years. He earned his medical degree from his LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Silverberg completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at his Mayo Clinic.
Sean Asher Founded Sparkhound in 1998. Prior to starting Sparkhound, he led a team of senior business consultants to successfully transform his IT systems and management for 3 hospital parent companies, a health insurance company and 25 smaller healthcare related companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Business Analysis and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from LSU.

Shane Kirkpatrick Elected to the Baton Rouge General Foundation Board of Directors for a three-year term.
Kirkpatrick has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry for GROUP Contractors and has served as the company’s president for the past 13 years. He is an Army veteran. Kirkpatrick will also serve as Chairman of the Louisiana Associated General Contractors Board of Directors in 2023.
